Bowl

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:38, NKJV

There’s 2 parts to this: our part and God’s part.

Our part is to GIVE. But what do we give? 

(hold up the TITHES AND OFFERINGS box)

We give "tithes and offerings."

(pour tithes and offerings - the corn flakes - into your bowl)

Our tithe is 10% of what we make and our offerings are everything we give above the tithe.

(Now empty your bowl into an offering bucket.)

Now let's look at God’s part.

For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

God will use the same measure that we use (hold up the bowl you used) and measure it back to us.

BUT  He does better than that! It says that He will give back to us good measure (pour God’s BLESSINGS in your bowl) pressed down (crunch the flakes really good) shaken together (pick up the bowl and shake it all down) and running over.

If it's not running over yet, then He’s not done! He will keep adding till it's running over! 

(pour in more of God’s BLESSINGS - press it down and shake it together. Keep repeating this until it's full and getting all over the table. Really get into the crunching. It will be more fun and the kids will really get into it.)

You decide how big your measure will be. Then God will measure it back to you!
